Our Vision

To position the Catholic University of Rwanda as a leading entrepreneurial university that nurtures ethical innovators, job creators, and transformative leaders who contribute to sustainable socio-economic development in Rwanda and beyond.

Our Mission

The mission of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning and Innovation (CELI) is to coordinate, deliver, and scale entrepreneurship education, innovation, and venture development across the Catholic University of Rwanda and its surrounding communities.

CELI seeks to achieve this mission by:

  • • Embedding entrepreneurship and innovation into the academic and co-curricular student experience
  • • Equipping students with practical entrepreneurial skills, mindset, and real-world exposure
  • • Supporting the creation, incubation, and growth of student-led and community-based enterprises
  • • Strengthening linkages between the university, industry, government, and development partners
  • • Promoting ethical leadership, social responsibility, and inclusive economic growth
  • • Advancing applied research and consultancy in entrepreneurship and innovation

Through this mission, CELI contributes directly to CUR's commitment to academic excellence, community transformation, and national development, while aligning with Rwanda's Vision 2050 and global development priorities.
